It all started with a simple idea. Chef Darren and Chef Mike wanted to take everything they’d learned in fine dining and bring it home - into real kitchens, for real people. After years in restaurants, they missed the connection that happens when good food brings people together.
So they built Lowcountry Gourmet around that feeling. Fresh ingredients, local inspiration, and meals made to be shared. From small dinner parties to big celebrations, they cook with heart, care, and a love for the craft that shows in every dish.

Darren Duncan is a passionate Executive Chef with a rich culinary history that began in his grandmother’s kitchen, where he first learned the art of cooking. He has brought his love for creating memorable dishes to prestigious venues such as Harbour Town Yacht Club and Oldfield. Darren’s dedication to his craft extends beyond the kitchen - he even met his wife while grilling her favorite BBQ wings. His background as a United States Marine instilled in him discipline and a relentless drive for excellence, which he carries into every meal he prepares, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all.
